Celebrating the Church Year With Young Children

Celebrating the Church Year With Young Children by Halmo, Joan. paperback edition. ISBN: 9780814615805.

In direct and understandable language this book tells what is possible for children to learn and to practice about the liturgy of the Church both at home and in the parish. Covering the whole Church year, Halmo focuses on the importance of the Sunday observance as the renewal of the Pasch, and she urges parents to concentrate on that instruction rather than on observing the major feast days. The pleasant blend of instruction, background data, and illustrations, along with the activities and prayers for celebrating the liturgical calendar with children, makes this an excellent choice for families with pre school children.
