About this book

Cold Noses II: Examining More Evidence by Gary Kurz. paperback edition. ISBN: 9780966611717.

Cold Noses II, Examining More Evidence is not meant to be an actual sequel to Cold Noses at the Pearly Gates, in the true sense of the word. While many new and thought-provoking ideas are added to what readers learned in Cold Noses at the Pearly Gates, Cold Noses II is more a response to the many hundreds of reader inquiries regarding "ghost pets" (for lack of a better term) and alleged paranormal experiences involving departed animals. Let me say this outright from the outset so no one will claim they were misled. THIS BOOK IS NOT FOR EVERYONE. Unlike the authors first book, Cold Noses at the Pearly Gates, which was a gentle and uplifting work based on the Bible, this work takes a not so gentle, strong and unwavering stand on the topics it discusses without apology. The author builds a solid and unimpeachable case for what the Bible says concerning what he terms as baseless, feel good, new age rhetoric about departed pets visiting their people from the great beyond. Readers who view the Bible as just another book will take little from the ideas and conclusions the author offers and will probably not enjoy it. However, for those who revere the Bible as the Word of God, you will no doubt find great comfort in understanding all the Bible has to say on this topic. Despite his unbending passion for what the Bible teaches, the author applies an extra measure of compassion in his discussion of some very sensitive topics. Readers will be moved by the authors explanation of how God offers "private comforting" to those who know and trust him, and in particular, by his story of how God supernaturally intervened in his grief to comfort him.
