Cuaderno de estudio y referencia works as a well-integrated supplement that allows students to expand their cultural organizational and grammatical knowledge through readings and activities that can be done outside of class. Cuaderno focuses on reflective writing which comes as a necessary support to the spontaneous writing done in class. Throughout the main text there are continuous references to explanations and activities that appear in Cuaderno and which students should do for homework.
