I have an large collection of cookery books from all over the world. I have been collecting these books for some 50 years. If there was a sudden earthquake (which there is sometimes in New Zealand) this would be the one book I would grab as I departed in a hurry. The book has such a good comprehensive selection of recipes with excellent instructions ingredients that are easily available with illustrations that are useful. The Mowbray Pie recipe makes the best Mowbray Pie I have ever tasted plus the quince jelly recipe with lemons is absolutely delicious.
