Frank was born in Lublin, Poland, in 1913. During World War II he survived four Nazi concentration camps, including Dachau and the little known Lipowa in Lublin. Being a tailor, he was tapped to head a 450-tailor operation, which put him in touch with such notorious officers as Himmler, Eichmann, G÷th, and Globocnik.
