John Locke: Champion of Modern Democracy (PHILOSOPHERS OF THE ENLIGHTENMENT)

Many historians date the beginning of the Age of Enlightenment with the publication of Lockes An Essay Concerning Human Understanding which ultimately influenced the writings of the more celebrated thinkers who wrote at the height of the Enlightenment fifty years later.
