My First Word Book (My First series)

About this book

DK continues to put early learning first with the award-winning My First series. When My First Word Book was published in 1991 its innovative style broke new ground in preschool publishing establishing a new way of helping young children make vital connections between images and words. More than 1.7 million copies later DK is recreating the magic for a new generation of youngsters. Brand new photography reflecting our changing times identifies and categorizes everyday objects and concepts concentrating on the 1 000 first words most commonly used by young children.
