Featured are 32 inspired artists who range in age from 60 to 98 and whose public distinction is incommensurate with their highly original accomplishments; some are virtually unknown some are known only regionally and some have had a historical presence but have not been viewed as contemporary practitioners. This volume was prepared to accompany an exhibit organized by the Parsons School of Design which will travel to several US cities during the next two years.
