The Believer's Secret of Intercession

The Believer's Secret of Intercession by Murray, Andrew. paperback edition. ISBN: 9780871239921.

Inspiring Devotional Readings From Two Classic Writers Contemporaries separated by two continents, both Andrew Murray and C. H. Spurgeon believed in the immeasurable value of intercessory prayer in the life of every believer and the entire church. Murray in South Africa and Spurgeon in England preached and wrote that persistent, intercessory prayer is, perhaps, the greatest work every Christian can do by the grace of God and in the power of the Holy Spirit. Editor L. G. Parkhurst has compiled selections from both Murrays and Spurgeons writings on the subject of intercession, updating them for todays reader. Thirty-one devotionals opening with a section from Murray, followed by related thoughts from Spurgeon, and concluding with a prayer of application form a powerful and challenging message for believers to labor individually and together in prayer.
