For thousands of years, one clandestine organization has been rumored to control the destinies of men, cities, even nations. That secret society is Freemasonry. Some say the secret society dates back to the building of King Solomons temple in 850 B.C. Others say the society owes its genesis to the Knights Templar, guardians of the Holy Grail. Often traced back to the stonemason guilds of the Middle Ages, freemasons were supposedly to be found among all the great minds of the Renaissance, including DaVinci. Regardless, the movement really took off in the 1700s, when anyone who was anyone was a freemason-from George IV and Mozart to George Washington and Benjamin Franklin. Over the next hundred years or so, the freemasons claimed such illustrious personages as Darwin, FDR, Churchill, Louis Armstrong, General Douglas MacArthur, W.C. Fields, Herbert Hoover, and many others as members. Even today, Freemasonry boasts Masonic lodges all over the globe. The Everything Freemasons Book examines all the aspects of this fascinating organization, including: Myths, legends, and stories of this ancient order-whats true and whats not The closely guarded secret rituals, symbols, and esoteric arts Whos who of freemasons-famous writers, scientists, statesmen, and more The freemasons enemies-from the Catholic Church to the Nazis The many controversies surrounding this secret society-past and present With The Everything Freemasons Book, youll unlock the Solomon key in no time!
