It was getting dark outside very dark. But the bright yellow light from the third floor window gave David and Robbie a clear view of everything especially the creepy old Motley graveyard. Most kids their age were too afraid to go anywhere near Motley Mansion. But David had always wanted to get a closer look at the old place and all of those graves. Besides jumping off the high board had left him feeling pretty sure of himself. So David made a very brave decision. After dinner they were going out to Motley Mansion. He had no way of knowing it at the time. But this glorious adventure would soon change their lives forever.
