About this book

The Navarre Bible: New Testament (Compact Edition) by University of Navarre. hardcover edition. ISBN: 9781889334592.

The Navarre Bible New Testament: now available in one handsome hardcover volume This Compact Edition of the Navarre Bible New Testament contains the entire New Testament (RSVCE); short introductions to each of the four Gospels, to the Acts, to the letters and to the book of Revelation; and new commentaries/notes – much less extensive than those in the 12-volume set, and often drawn from different sources. The commentary is drawn from the writings of early Christian authors, Eastern and Western fathers of the Church, Vatican II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and prominent contemporary spiritual writers including St. Josemaría Escrivá. All the commentary is designed not only to explain the text, but to clarify its application to daily life.
