This is the first in a series of childrens books about Georgia. In this book "Yumion" a walking talking Vidalia onion is discovered on a farm in south Georgia. Yumion is the character who travels all over Georgia meeting people and learning all about different parts of this great state. Children parents and grandparents enjoy this book because the illustrations are very colorful and lifelike and the rhythmic story is fun to read. As a special "sweet" surprise the phrase "Be Sweet" is hidden in the illustrations 4 times. Children love this part of the book as much as they love to read it.
