About this book

The Story of Annie Armstrong (WMU Heritage Series) by Cathy Butler. paperback edition. ISBN: 9781563098611.

From the moment she allowed her name to be submitted as the inaugural leader of WMU, the stage was set for Annie Armstrong to become a legend among Baptists. Her tenacity, perseverance, and strong will provided the necessary skills to launch what has become one of the greatest forces for missions in modern history. Cathy Butler has captured the essence of the life of this incredible missions leader. Her descriptive storytelling will take you back to the early history of WMU and reinforce teh purpose for which WMU exists today. Miss Annies marching orders to "Go Forward!" are still valid today as we seek to challenge followers of Christ to understand and be radically involved in the mission of God.
