The Unreal God of Modern Theology: Bultmann Barth and the Theology of Atheism : A Call to Recovering the Truth of God's Reality (English and German Edition)

About this book

Klaus Bockmuehl the late professor of theology and ethics at Regent College Vancouver BC makes a startling and compelling connection between the theologies of the early Karl Barth Rudolph Bultmann and the later proponents of an "atheistic" Christianity. Dr. Bockmuehl urges us to recover the truth of Gods reality proposing a road back through study of the biblical record of Gods work in history and through vital experience of Gods lordship. His book rings with a passionate call to faith in a living and active God who is very much present in his redemptive work of changing individuals and the world.
