About this book

There have been times when I felt I was one of the most fortunate people in the world almost as if Providence or Fate or Destiny as you like had chosen me for special favors. Now I am in my eighties and I have known the joys and sorrows of a full life I can neither forget nor ever reconcile myself to the tragedies. Age however has its privileges. One is to reminisce and another is to reminisce selectively. I prefer to remember the good times and that is how this book begins.
