We were barreling along at 115 miles per hour sometimes on the wrong side of the street sometimes on the sidewalk. "The gunmen shot my rear tire. I went into a spin and slammed into a parked Rambler. I was knocked half senseless. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the two hit men walk toward me. "Then one of the thugs yanked up mar door open and stuck a gun in my face. Oh God I thought What a cheap way to die..." From scrappy immigrant boy to fearless under-world criminal Nick the Greek terrorized the tows and cities he roamed.
