Tracing Your Cork Ancestors

Tracing Your Cork Ancestors by McCarthy, Tony. Paperback edition. ISBN: 9781907990014.

Cork is the largest Irish county, with a population mainly of Gaelic and Norman origin. It has a widely diverse social history ranging from the urban population of Cork City to some of the most remote and isolated agricultural communities in rural Ireland. The records available for the county are equally diverse. This makes it important to use these records to their best advantage. This revised and expanded edition sets out the records available, where they can be accessed and how best they can be used for Cork family history research.
