After leaving Disney Mary worked as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator creating advertising campaigns and illustrating several Little Golden Books some of which are still in print today. David McAliser Dave Barry is a Pulitzer Prize winning American author and columnist and Ridley Pearson is an author of adventure books for children. Together they have co-authored Peter and the Starcatchers (2004) a prequel to Peter Pan followed by three additional prequels as well as three Never Land books: Escape from the Carnivale (2006) Cave of the Dark Wind (2007) and Blood Tide (2008).
