After the publication of SEE WTIH YOUR EYES-HEAR WITH YOUR HEART numerous requests for caregiving tips and suggestions were posed. The contents of this book are the result of a collaboration between Jared Helms DO and Marian Steel PhD. Anticipating the situations that you and your loved one will likely encounter the authors offer suggestions from their own experiences with and perspectives of dementia. This book is not a comprehensive treatment plan for the patient nor a script for the caregiver Rather it is guidance for addressing difficult situations and encouragement for caregivers as they fulfill a demanding role.
