Though multivolume dictionaries of biblical theology abound there is no single-volume resource from a decidedly evangelical perspective. The Evangelical Dictionary of Biblical Theology (EDBT) fills that gap with admirable distinction. Most multivolume resources moreover require a knowledge of the biblical languages.
