Patterns of the Hypnotic Techniques of Milton H. Erickson, M.D., Vol. 2

In this volume Grinder and Bandller with their co-author Judith DeLozier extend their modeling skills from verbal patterning in hypnosis to nonverbal communication. In integrating the verbal and nonverbal portions of hypnotic communication the authors examine the legendary skill Dr. Erickson has in engaging in multilevel communication with patients. In the first part the authors offer a general model for hypnotic communication with transcript examples of its immediate application of hypnosis. In the second part the authors present two previously unpublished transcripts of Dr. Erickson working in hypnosis with clients for therapeutic outcomes.
