Reflections of Light

Fifty years later an increasingly smaller group of people know personally the depth and intensity of the civil rights struggle that began in the 1960s. And hard as it may be to accept that struggled played out forcefully in the American Lutheran church. Pastor Lonnie Branch found himself in the midst of that changing challenging time--called by God to be a pastor charged by his conscience and his community to speak for justice tempered by his family heritage to act in love and compassion. It has propelled him on an odyssey of faith that still continues.
