The Nichols own and operate Mares Nest a well-known Thoroughbred breeding farm in northern California and they are co-breeders of Seabiscuits most successful racing descendant Sea Orbit. Bill is on the Board of Directors of The Seabiscuit Heritage Foundation as well as The California Thoroughbred Breeders Association.
